Every now and then, a shoe comes out just for the kids that makes adults want to revisit their youth again. Towards the end of 2009, it was the Air Jordan 12 Black/Purple, and now it is this pack of “Year of the Tiger” Nike Dunks.
Black leather makes up the upper’s toe, forefoot and heel panels. Matching those are the laces, liner, outsole and tongue in various materials. Filling in the remainder of the upper are multiple patches of furry “tiger-striped” materials, which don’t look exactly like the big cat’s fur but are close enough, mixing in tans browns and blacks. Finally, the yellow gold Swoosh finishes the shoes off. As stated above, these are for kids only, but the ladies and younger generation may have an opportunity to make these work.

The new Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke comes in a nice colorway. It was actually designed by Masta Mike who make many changes on the Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke collection. In spite the fact that he chose conservative colorway, the combination of the colors made a successful outcome on the new sneaker model.
The sneaker comes in a nice suede leather in dark grey color. It comes with nubuck leather in tan perforated leather in its toe cap. I love the rich purple accent of woven nylon in its swoosh and shoe laces. I also love the gum sole of the shoes.

Alongside the Air Jordan 12 Retro ‘Rising Sun’ Jordan Brand has also just dropped the first colorway of the Air Jordan Fusion 13, the black/white/varsity red colorway. Barack Obama is all over the place. You see his campaign signs along all the roads and his face plastered all over the newspapers and TV. Now you even see his face on a pair of custo Air Force Ones which have been designed by an artist named Van or Van20. Instead of a flashy colorway or the use of patterns and materials, Van used his pure artistic talent for these.
Each shoe includes an image of Barack Obama which i have to say is pretty impressive. The portraits of Barack Obama are of two different facial expressions and the rendition is spot on. Besides the Obama portraits which are enough to catch the eye, Van has also included the two sayings which Barack Obama is always caught saying; “Change” and “Yes We Can”. All this along with a few stars, a simple grid pattern, the Barack Obama logos and some fading these custom sneakers are a pair which is defiantly unique in my book. Obama voter or not.
I think VAN must be a great fan of Obama, and also a great kicks designer who make this pair of air force ones have so clean and great colorway and design.
Summer of 2010 will mark the release of the new Air Jordan IX, which sports a solid black bearing, white sole and citrus stitching of Jordan’s magical number 23 as well as the jumpman emblazon both on the back and on the sole of the shoes.
One interesting feature of the upcoming Air Jordan IX Retro is the markings it has on its sole. It has the marking of the jumpman on the heel side which by the way, comes in citrus as well; some Chinese writing which means “WORLD” and other interesting graphics. The desire to be distinct is clearly something the designers had in mind at the time they were brainstorming for the concept.
